New Opportunities was requested for their expertise to present to the Department of Mental Health on Tuesday, May 1st, 2018. The director of correctional education and the director of reentry services will be presenting on the topic of "safety and crisis prevention/intervention when working with forensic/justice involved consumers.

This 6 hour training will provide participants with specific safety practices and crisis interventions while working with Forensic/Justice Involved Consumers in the office or filed-base settings. This training will encapsulate specific safety practices to use in an office and field-based setting to ensure staff and consumer safety.
